I was never one to like rules, but to ensure that the boards remain attractive for everyone, there are some simple guidelines you MUST follow.
Admins and mods may edit your posts (as well as warn/ban you) if they see fit.


EDIT: Most of these rules have been put in place and have accumulated due to certain situations we've ran into...


FORUM RULES:

1. Flaming/being an asshat/using racial slurs/annoying staff will get you warned, temporarily banned or permanently banned (depending...).

2. Keep things civil, but feel free to joke around and be yourself - use your better judgment.

3. Good grammar. Why not practice your English? Good, coherent writing is obviously nicer to read and easier on the head.

4. Post threads in the most appropriate forum and stay on topic when posting in threads.

5. Use descriptive topics so that the search feature works efficiently and use the search engine before posting to avoid making duplicate threads.

6. Don't double post (don't post the same thing twice; don't post multiple times in a row ... instead, use the edit button).

7. If you're posting anything adult-related, be sure to put a warning in your topic's description.

8. Nothing sick and/or distasteful - use your better judgment.

9. NO WAREZ...at all.

10. NO ADVERTISING/SPAMMING or anything of the sort. This will result in a permanent ban on the first offense - no exceptions.


Signature/Avatar/Profile Picture:

- No pornography

- No foul language

- Nothing sick in nature

- Only one signature image per person

- Keep signature image file size at a minimum (should not exceed 50 KB)

Width - No wider than 500 pixels
Height - No taller than 175 pixels

- Animated signature images are OK, but keep animation to a minimum and, again, watch file size

- Keep dimensions of signature image at a reasonably small, non-intrusive size

- You can have text in your sig, but keep it at a minimum

- You can have a link in your sig, assuming these guidelines are followed:

* No pop-ups
* No advertising
* No forced sign-ups to view content
* No competitors

Side rule #1) Admins are always right.
Side rule #2) When admins are wrong, refer to side rule #1.
Side rule #3) Do not leave your name at the end of a post. Everyone knows who is posting so no need to sign it.
